History Completed in January 1924 
Notes on loss At 05.45 hours on 15 Feb, 1940, the neutral Aase was hit in the stern by one torpedo from U-37 and sank fast after breaking in two. 15 crew members were lost. The only survivor was picked up by HMS Verity (D 63) (LtCdr A.R.M. Black, RN) on 17 February.
