Taken out of service at Kiel in April 1945, after being bombed, surrendered there in May 1945. Transferred to Lisahally for Operation Deadlight.

Sunk on 3 January, 1946 in position 55.50N, 08.20W by gunfire from the destroyer HMS Offa.

Unlike many other U-boats, which during their service lost men due to accidents and various other causes, U-2351 did not suffer any casualties (we know of) until the time of her loss.
