Dive into History

If you can provide any information on these boats that would be great, as this page simply cannot be completed without the help of people who have personally dived on these boats. Each boat will have its own page here, hopefully with some charts and photographs, additionally the pages will have some contact information for those interested in diving these boats. I will only list diving operators who show these sites proper respect, especially the war graves.


US Waters
There are 7 dive sites for sure in US waters;

U-85, U-352, U-701, U-853, U-869 / U-Who, U-1105 and U-2513.


The Kattegat
The Kattegat is the body of sea betwen Denmark and Sweden. Dive sites there include U-251.


Norway
At least the U-711 is a dive site with a few more possible locations including;

U-320 and U-1053.

Ireland & Northen Ireland
U-260 for sure and possibly also U-296.

There are probably more dive sites than these two.


Portugal
U-1277 is a regular dive just off Oporto, Portugal. U-963 is a possible additional site.


Spain
U-74 is a dive site out of Cartagene, Spain.


France
U-390, U-171 and U-263 are dive sites and possibly U-741.
