Allied Naval Commanders section open!
Finally we've opened the new Allied Naval Commanders section. This section, currently with 4716 officers and growing fast, is linked to relevant warships and vice versa. This makes it easy to see all commands this officer had and also other commanders of that vessel. This section is still being worked on very heavily and each day sees lots of changes and updates.

Allied Warship Commanders database
We're working on a new database and pages for Allied Warship Commanders during WWII. The work is already well under way with the Commonwealth navies (over 3000 officers listed right now and their roughly 5100 commands). We hope to open this soon and expand this into US navy and Russian navy as well. This data is, right now, harvested from the Allied Warships section.

Events on this day greatly improved
I've added two large new sections to the popular page Events on this day; U-boat departures and arrivals and U-boats at sea on this day. Both sections are fairly self-explanatory and show a vast new view on this date in question. Please remember that you can of course view any date of the year on this page.
